Key Responsibilities
The Heavy Duty Driver will be responsible for a range of transport and support duties, including:
Collecting vehicles from branches, customers, and external suppliers Delivering vehicles to designated destinations including customers and service points Transporting customers to and from service centres when required Moving vehicles within workshop and dealership premises Assisting in parking and organizing vehicles in designated areas Reporting all accidents, traffic offences, or incidents immediately to management Assisting customers in locating and collecting their vehicles Taking vehicles for roadworthy inspections when needed Supporting workshop and showroom operations when required Working overtime when operational demands require it
In addition to driving duties, the role may involve assisting in driver training and performance support activities.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification
Valid Code 10 driver’s licence with PDP
Minimum of 3 years’ heavy-duty driving experience
Clean driving and criminal record
Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws
Good communication and customer service skills
Experience in commercial transport or vehicle logistics will be an advantage.
