About the Opportunity

National Brands Limited is recruiting for a Fitter and Turner at its Rosslyn Snacks Factory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance, preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and project work on plant equipment.

This role is suited to a qualified artisan with experience working in a processing plant, FMCG or manufacturing environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Maintenance and Repairs

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Carry out breakdown repairs on plant equipment.
  • Perform planned and preventative maintenance.
  • Conduct maintenance during planned shutdowns.
  • Contribute to planned maintenance activities.
  • Identify potential equipment reliability issues.
  • Help correct poor engineering practices.
  • Assist with the implementation of new equipment.
  • Record maintenance information on Shopware.

Health and Safety

The Fitter and Turner will also be expected to:

  • Follow Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
