Position: PPT Driver x2
DHL Supply Chain South Africa is looking for motivated and safety-conscious PPT Drivers (Powered Pallet Truck Drivers) to join their warehouse operations team. The successful candidates will be responsible for transporting palletized stock safely and efficiently while maintaining operational standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Operate Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT) and other material handling equipment safely
Transport stock between warehouse locations
Pick and move stock accurately and efficiently
Ensure compliance with SOPs and work instructions
Conduct daily equipment inspections and complete safety checklists
Maintain housekeeping and hygiene standards in operational areas
Assist with stock counts and inventory control
Report damaged stock, unsafe conditions, or equipment faults
Support operational changes and additional duties when required
Ensure product quality, safety, and integrity are maintained at all times
Minimum Requirements
Previous warehouse or PPT driving experience advantageous
Good communication and written English skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Computer literacy
Ability to work overtime when operationally required
Good hand-eye-foot coordination for operating MHE equipment
Knowledge of warehousing and packaging processes preferred
WMOS system knowledge will be beneficial
